AI Crypto Signals for Bitcoin, Ethereum & Top Altcoins
Crypto markets run 24/7, react to on-chain data that equity traders never see, and move faster than any news feed can track manually. Alphora Signals ingests blockchain data, ETF flow feeds, and financial news simultaneously — and delivers a ranked, AI-scored brief at 7:00 AM ET, before the US market opens.
Coverage: BTC · ETH · SOL · BNB · XRP · rotating top altcoins by market-moving event.
Why crypto needs different signals than stocks
Stock signals are built around a structured event calendar: earnings dates, Fed meetings, economic data releases. These events are scheduled, anticipated, and priced in over days. Crypto operates differently — its most significant price moves are often driven by events that have no equity equivalent.
The most impactful crypto market-movers include Bitcoin spot ETF net flow data (published daily by custodians), large wallet transfers visible on-chain before they hit any news wire, stablecoin supply changes that signal capital staging for deployment, and regulatory actions across multiple jurisdictions that can open or close institutional access overnight.
A signal service that covers crypto using only financial news sentiment — without blockchain-native data — is missing the most information-dense layer of the market. Alphora Signals ingests on-chain data alongside traditional news and macro inputs so that crypto signals reflect the full picture, not just the headline.
Additionally, crypto trades around the clock. By 7:00 AM ET when the Alphora brief arrives, the crypto market has already traded for hours since the Asian and European sessions opened. The morning brief captures overnight developments that establish the session's directional context before US equity markets add their influence.
Six on-chain data categories that drive crypto signals
On-chain data is recorded directly on the blockchain — publicly verifiable and often hours ahead of the news narrative that eventually explains it.
Assets covered
Coverage is event-driven — we track assets when they generate market-moving signals, not to fill a fixed list. Core coverage includes:
ETF flows, on-chain reserves, halving cycle context
Staking flows, L2 activity, ETF mechanics
Network activity, validator data, DeFi TVL shifts
Exchange activity, CEX regulatory exposure
Legal developments, cross-border payment adoption
Coverage follows market-moving events, not a fixed list
How confidence scores work for crypto signals
Each crypto signal in the Alphora brief includes a confidence score (shown as a percentage). For crypto assets, this score is calculated from four inputs weighted to reflect the unique characteristics of crypto markets:
Source agreement (30% weight).
How many independent data sources — on-chain indexers, ETF flow providers, news wires — confirm the same event and directional interpretation. Agreement across blockchain data and news is a strong signal; news-only agreement is weaker.
Historical event pattern (25% weight).
How comparable events (same event type, similar magnitude) have moved the asset over 1-day and 5-day windows in the past. Bitcoin ETF outflow episodes above $300M, for example, have a measurable historical distribution of 24-hour price impacts that informs the model's directional call.
Overnight price action (25% weight).
Whether the asset's Asian and European session price action already validates the signal direction. A bearish thesis that is accompanied by a 3% overnight decline has pre-market confirmation; one that is accompanied by price stability or gains warrants a lower confidence score.
On-chain confirmation (20% weight).
Whether blockchain data (exchange reserves, wallet flows) corroborates the news-driven signal. A bearish news signal accompanied by rising exchange reserves and wallet-to-exchange flows scores higher confidence than news sentiment alone.
Signals above 80% reflect strong multi-factor alignment. Use them for higher-conviction situational awareness. Signals between 55–75% reflect notable events with mixed supporting data — useful for watchlist additions, not position sizing.
